The objective of this podcast is to provide the listener with an understanding of Hodges Health Care Domains Model created at Manchester Met. University. It explains how and why the model was formulated, its structure and the rationale for its content. On completion the listener will have drawn and labelled the model, be able to describe the model’s axes and differentiate between the model’s four care domains and their scope. In order to fully engage in this podcast paper and pen are required. The content in this presentation originally recorded in Nov 2006 will not become dated, as for the presenter. Although developed in health and social care this model can be applied universally. The podcast is part of a learning package comprising the complete notes, audio file of 30 minutes duration and 10 summary powerpoint slides. The presenter is Peter Jones who work for the NHS in the NW of England.
